The listing, Cutting (3) Hanging Succulent has ended.

This is not a pencil cactus. It's name is Wickerware or Rattlin Bones (Rhipsalis Cereuscula) Beautiful hanging basket. Low maintenance. Cuttings root easily. This one just bloomed. A Very whimsical looking plant. The pieces I send will be at least 4" in length. Happy Planting! :)

Can this be kept outside in the winter?

I kept mine outside al winter, but remember I live in south Texas. It got down to 29 here but only for a couple of hours at a time. I keep mine hanging on the front porch which faces the north. When we are expecting cold for longer periods, I sit it down by the house.

I've listed this plant once before. The pic shows the plant from further out with a better overall view. On this one I wanted the blooms highlighted.

I've only rooted it in soil after the cut area has cured.

Once the cutting end has dried, I just planted it and kept it moist until it rooted.
