The listing, Sterling sliver & black hills gold necklace has ended.

This is a very pretty piece. I have had it for at least 10 years but I just never wear jewelry very often. I haven't worn it more then twice. I will try to answer any questions you may have to the best of my abilities. The chain is sterling silver and the last picture I tried to show the stamp but just couldn't get a good picture. I believe the chain is 18 inches and the star of the show :-) the pendant piece is sterling silver and black hills gold. it has the trade mark green and pink leaves and on the back it is stamped 10k and it has the makers mark which to me looks like it is the F L Thorpe & Co. The pendant itself measures approx. 1 1/2 across and 7/8 ths inch in height. All questions welcome! Fan me & I fan back. Thanks for looking and good luck to all bidders.

I've ended up purchasing jewelry on listia that was stamped 10,14,18,24k that were fakes and also bought a ring stamped 925 and it was fake silver that's why I asked ..thank you for understanding

its testing it to see if it is actual gold any jewelry store can test it for free I only ask because I bought a bracelet on listia and it was marked 14k and it turned out to be an impressive fake

Oh ok I think I have heard of that before. So no I haven't had it tested. I bought it new so I didn't have any reservations thinking it wasn't real.
