Description

The listing, Beautiful 2006-S Sacajawea $1 Coin (Graded by a private firm NOT a nationally recognized firm) has ended.

This is a 2006-S Sacajawea $1 Coin. It's important to note that it is graded by a private firm NOT one of the nationally recognized organizations of PCGS, NCS, NGC or ANACS. NGA is frequently mistaken for one of the professional grading firms. They, NGA, in fact likely intended for people to make this mistake, thinking this coin was graded by one of the nationally recognized grading companies which would make the coin much more valuable. While this coin is NOT professionally graded, it is however a beautiful uncirculated 2006-S Sacajawea in pristine condition and is a great coin for any collection! It will come to you as pictured. Any scratches that appear in the pictures are on the case. Many vendors, auctioneers and sellers intentionally mislead and/or scam potential buyers. NEVER BID ON ANY COIN OR ALLEGED PRECIOUS METAL WITHOUT RESEARCHING FIRST! THERE ARE MANY SCAM ARTISTS WHO USE A "PLAY ON WORDS" TO LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE A GRAM OF SILVER OR COPPER IS WORTH MORE THAN IT'S MINISCULE VALUE OF A FEW CENTS! If you're the winning bidder please provide your Listia verified mailing address immediately upon the close of the auction to enable us to get this to you in a timely manner. Thanks for looking & please fan us! We return the favor of all fans!

LOL I've made that mistake myself. They blow the picture of the "coin" up to make it appear larger than it really is, then play up the "rising value of silver". I got a "one gram Year of the Dragon" bit of silver that way. So, it takes 27 or 28 of these "coins" to make an ounce. Fanned you by the way :-)

Yep TrashDog, they use all sorts of plays on words and some blantantly lie. There's a guy on here now selling 1 "grain" of palladium and making it sound as though is veru valuable since the current market value of palladium in over $700 per oz however it takes nearly 500 grains to make a single ounce and this dude is getting anywhere from 10,000 to nearly 20,000 credits for less than $2 worth palladium because people don't understand how many "grains" it take to equal an ounce.
