Here's a postcard you don't see very often--one with a ghost!! This English postcard--circa 1912--features the image of the supposed ghost of Queen Jane Seymour. Queen Jane took Anne Boleyn's place as Henry VIII's mate after Anne's beheading in 1536. This intriguing postcard shows an apparition apparently shrieking in great distress. Card is notated "THE HAMPTON COURT PALACE GHOST. Queen Jane Seymour's Ghost, as seen nightly near the private stairway leading to apartments formerly occupied by her."
I researched this postcard but could not find a copyright date; I did, however, find an identical card which was postmarked 1912--so it's at least that old.
