Description

The listing, 20 Crape Myrtle Seed has ended.

You are bidding on 20 Crape Myrtle seeds. Crape myrtles are really easy to grow. They grow fast and can be a tree or a bush depending on how you trim them. They will have lots of stems at first and if you want a tree as pictured above then you will have to trim until you get just a couple of the main stems. If you want a bush then you just leave it be and let it do what it wants to do.

I only have one Crape myrtle growing in my yard and its fairly new to me cause I just moved here from Iowa and there are no Crape myrtles there. At least none that I know of. I cant wait to see what it looks like when it is flowered. My sister has told me all about Crapes and Im so excited.

Here's a link that tells you how to grow from seed. It takes two seeds to get one plant.

They didnt make a bush... These are bushes and if you want a tree you have to trim it to be that way. There are web sites you can go to that will teach you how to trim it to be a tree rather than a bush. fan ya back Theresa

Look at how big they get. That first one is taller than that two story house. That totally amazes me. Mine is still bush size and it is only about 5 feet tall.
