* BRAND NEW FROM 1982 *
Avons "Sweet Dreams Keepsake Plate" is a customizable name-plate, with spaces for up to 3 children's names. Has an adorable baby bunny in basket on front, stamped Avon on back. Made in Japan.
*NOTE* This plate is over 25 years old, and is considered antique and/or Vintage whatever you prefer. The plate has never had any names painted or written on it. It has remained in box for all these years and is brand new.

Well no, I mean, it could be vintage or antique. I don't know, I don't really ever deal with antiques, and when I have, I've been told anything over 25 years is antique. As for depression glass from the 20's, it is not yet 100 years old; is it vintage or antique? It is all a matter of opinion. And as for listing it, the antique category was the best fit, I don't know where else to have listed it. I don't see things like this in home&garden or the baby category. So I didn't mean to come off rude either, sorry.

Great piece :) F & W and just some info so you know, alot of people post non-antique items under antiques when they are not. Got this from wickpedia other info sites "The definition of antique varies depending on the source, product, and year.
The only known exception to the "100 year rule" would be cars. Since the definition of the term antique requires an item to be at least 100 years old and the item in question to be in its original and unaltered condition, most cars would not meet these terms. Therefore, cars have generally been considered to be 'antique' if they are at least 25 years old or more. " so I guess anything that isnt a car is not considered a true antique unless its 100 yrs old . something i just recently learned just wanted to share the info. Have a great day!
