no but walmart, office max, and staples all sales the ink catrides for it

yes you can print out other things too.

Does it take just 2 ink cartridges - 1 black and 1 color? Do you have the software that came with it?

yes it takes two ink cartridges a Canon CL-31 color and a Canon PG-30. If it came with software then I still have it and will send it with the printer. Hope this helps
