Here's another great find from the jewelry box that was packed away for years! This beautiful necklace is from the 80's and has just been stored away, so it's still in excellent condition! This one was one of my FAVORITES - it's so delicate and so beautiful!

This was a "Secretary's Day" gift back in the late 80s, and the story we got was that the boss's wife had found these and fell in love with them and insisted he get one for each of the "girls in the office" that year for our "special" day. It was hand-made with some secret special technique where the artist took an actual leaf for the base, somehow removed the "skin" leaving just the tiny veins and arteries that run through the leaf and then coated them with real gold! I tried to get a close-up to show the tiny detail, but my picture doesn't do it justice! This one is absolutely amazing, and very unique - this is the only one I've ever seen (other than that year in the office - lol!).

The tiny goldtone serpentine chain is about 24" long and is probably NOT real gold (and could use a good cleaning), but is in good "mechanical" order and has working slide-lock clasp.

Necklace is securely packaged and ready to take to the post office at auction end - all I need is your mailing address and your money for shipping.
