This hat is an early prototype design for pieces I am currently working on to sell in my online store. I took a plain old costume felt top hat I bought 2nd hand and covered the top in black vintage lace, which is hanging down the back to make the train. I added 10-12 inch black and red striped rooster feathers as well as a gold tone accent with a small resin cameo to the front. The back has been embellished with a gold tone vintage metal button where the train is drawn together. There is another seller on here who lists similar items for a much higher starting bid and a much higher shipping price. That seller also says they sell their designs at steampunk fairs for $50 and up, if I am remembering right. I would ask $25 for this if I were to sell it based on it being a prototype, and all though it is high quality for a prototype, it is not the high quality of what I currently produce. So this is well worth the starting bid and shipping price. This is great for anyone who goes to themed parities, cosplay events, ren fairs, steampunk fairs or cons, ect.
