Description

The listing, Gold Plated "Replica" of 1 oz.Canadian Gold Bar +++PLEASE READ+++ has ended.

This is a gold plated bar. It purports to be a replica of a Queen Elizabeth II Canadian .999 1 oz gold bar. Whether or not it actually is, is irrelevant as it's WORTHLESS like the various 100's of other gold plated bars and rounds. ONLY THE FIRST TWO PICTURES ARE TAKEN "IN THE CASE". The last seven pictures are taken OUTSIDE the case. The bar itself has numerous tiny scratches. It's only collectible value is as a "replica" of a Queen Elizabeth II Canadian .999 1 oz gold bar. The nickel is pictured solely for the purpose of indicating the size of the bar but is not included in the auction. It's important to note that many people sell items similar to this that are ALSO worthless with a true actual of less than a dollar. The case this particular bar comes in, is worth more than the bar itself! NEVER BID ON ANY COIN OR ALLEGED PRECIOUS METAL WITHOUT RESEARCHING FIRST! THERE ARE MANY SCAM ARTISTS WHO USE A "PLAY ON WORDS" TO LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE A GRAM OF SILVER OR COPPER IS WORTH MORE THAN IT'S MINISCULE VALUE OF A FEW CENTS! If you want this as an investment, it's worthless! We received it as a free bonus token when we purchased a coin on another website. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. If you're the winner of this auction please provide your Listia verified mailing address immediately upon the close of the auction to enable us to get this on it's way to you in a timely manner. Thanks for looking and most importantly, BE AN INFORMED BUYER! DON'T BUY COINS OR ALLEGED PRECIOUS METAL WITHOUT DOING YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!

I'm glad you're being so honest about this bar. I'm tired of seeing these 1 gram bouillon bars go for 7 and 8 thousand credits. It's ridiculous. You can buy them from his website for $2.20. -.-

Thanks so much...There certainly needs to be some awareness on here. Got a message tonight from a guy who GIN'd a grain bar of gold for 38,000 which turned out to be nothing...He's pretty unhappy! :-( I feel so so sorry for him!

I'm willing to bid a wee bit on these since I have a use for them, but I can't see doing what a lot of people do with a ton of credits.

Yes, it's one thing if a person is buying them as a tokenof what is imprinted or molded on them, but if they think their buying them as a financial investment, I want them to understand that it's basically worthless.

Is the bar gold plated silver?

Thanks for your inquirey....All I know is that I was told it's 24k plated. I have no idea what metal content is. It could be 'anything' which is why I stated it is basically "worthless" just as the majority of copper, silver, gold and palladium bars actioned here. The vast mahority of them have a true market value of less than $2 and that's being a "generous"! While I believe most of the precious metals on here are genuine and authentic, their size/weights of these bars and rounds are so tiny that the true market value is next to nothing! Gold and palladium are being sold by the grain and it takes like 437 grains to make an ounce so that gives you an idea of how worthless those things are. "IF" this were an ounce of 24k plated pure .999 silver, it would be worth $23.24 today.
