Description
The listing, 1969 New York City Mayoral Election Political Button: Lindsay. It's the 2nd toughest job in America has ended.
I have a 1969 New York City ( NYC ) mayoral election political button. It says "Lindsay. It's the 2nd toughest job in America." Lindsay won. It shows some signs of wear, but is stil in pretty good condition. Diameter 1 1/4 inch. I generally ship on Wednesday, but sooner if possible.
In running for re-election in 1969, New York City Mayor John V. Lindsay admitted that he’d made some mistakes, but that he had “the second hardest job in America,” and had done an overall good job. This became Lindsay’s 1969 campaign slogan, and he was re-elected.
