The listing, Cardinal Climber - 3 seeds has ended.
I just bought a pack of these for planting in my yard, but there's way more seed than I can use, so I'm doing what every good gardener does...:)...I'm sharing.
The seed packet says NK Lawn and Garden, which I've never heard of, but the price was right. I don't currently know anyone who has this plant growing in their yard or I'd go raid it for seeds or small plants but, since I don't, this is my next best option.
I realize 3 seeds doesn't sound like much, but these vines are prolific and can also be extremely invasive. They can and will go through cracks in walls, holes in screen, and have been known to gain more than one stranglehold on any plants growing near them, so give them plenty of room to grow if you decide to locate them near your home, porch, window, etc, and be willing to 're-direct' the strays...lol.
Once started, these plants very often reseed themselves, but saving seed is very easy with these plants and the seeds often benefit from going through the winter right where you want them to grow in spring/summer. And, don't worry, the seeds will be fine...Nature does this all the time...;).
The shipping is free. The photo is from hgtv.com via Google and has been borrowed because it's such a beautiful example of what these vines look like when in fill and frilly bloom. I love them and you will too!
