This is Indian one Rupee coin. And its not silver one. There are two varieties of these coins coming in market. By the end of British rule over Indian subcontinent, they issued many non silver coins.

I was going by what the coin its self says, half rupee india 1943 george vi king emperor,,,so,,,tkx for input i am not familiar with world coins, just have a bunch given to me, tkx for input :-)

This coin says on one side; "half rupee india 1943,",,,,on the other side it says; " george vi king emperor" this is where i get my information from i do not really know these world coins,,,so,,,tkx for looking
