Description

The listing, 18 Green Butterfly Iron On Appliques-9 Patterns has ended.

Enjoy these 18 appliques; useful for quick and easy application for many, many projects. There are 9 patterns and the 1st pictures displays each pattern. The 2nd picture shows the 2nd butterfly cut from the same pattern on top of the 1st. This way you can see the slight design differences.
The lovely butterflies measure 2 3/4" tall by 4 1/4" wide.
These are hand cut in a cat friendly (smoke free) sewing room. Although it is suppose to be cat free my sweet, old cat does stop by to visit, but doesn't object when put on her leash and escorted back to the living room. This leaves me cat hair free and hands free.
I accept Paypal and the s&h fee is $1.00 to defray all expenses.
Thank you for using Listia and visiting my offerings.

Would these work without putting a iron to them? I would like to use them on
greeting cards with card stock?
love that you are cat friendly! I have 3 of my own.

I don't think it would stick just by peeling the back off and applying; but I don't see why you couldn't spread Elmer's Glue very lightly on the back with a small brush or q-tip, and press down with your finger. I looked for glue to try it, and don't you know it....not one thing of glue in this house. I would rather you not take the chance on using up your bids and it not work....but if you have a scrap piece of fabric give it a try. The adhesive on the back of the fabric is a glue substance and it seems it would only enhance the bonding by using a second thin layer of regular glue. If you bid, then I'll know it works. I think a benefit of the paper back adhesive is that you wouldn't be dealing with limp fabric; it would be more rigid and the glue wouldn't soak through. Wow, that was a lot of words....and no positive solution. Wish I could make a guarantee, but I can't. I appreciate you asking though and the next trip to Wal Mart will include some Elmer's Glue!
