Free auction only bid if you wish, I decide share this trap with my Listia fellows I don't want no one get sick or die with DENGUE or NiLE VIRUS.,I'll relist every 10 days, now the hot days starting and the mosquitoes follow, specialty here in Florida but is always good have natural trap against mosquitoes,let's clean our environment without poison the air..

HEALTH - LEARN TO MAKE A SIMPLE TRAP MOSQUITOES AND AGAINST DENGUE

Items needed:

What we need is basically:
200 ml water
50 grams of brown sugar,
1 gram of yeast (yeast bread, found in any supermarket) and a 2-liter plastic bottle. [...]

How to:
One. Cut the plastic bottle (PET type) in half. Storing the neck portion:
2nd. Mix brown sugar with hot water. Let cool. When cold, pour in the bottom half of the bottle.
3rd. Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide.
4th. Place the funnel part, upside down, into the other half of the bottle.
5th. Wrap the bottle with something black, minus the top, and put in some corner of your house,garden or patio...

In two weeks you will see the amount of mosquitoes and mosquitoes who died inside the bottle.

In addition to cleaning their homes, breeding sites of mosquitoes , we can use this method very useful in: Schools, Nurseries, Hospitals, homes, ranches, farms, . etc. Do not forget Dengue in the coming months: this mosquito can kill a person!

If you have water in your yard ie: pond, fountain, bird baths, old tires, water troughs, rain barrels, etc. Invest in mosquito dunks and remember to put new ones out about once a month. You can find them at most hardware stores and places like Kmart. Well worth the money, will cut the numbers in those standing water areas by 100%. Only the female mosquitoes bite, looking for a blood meal for protein to make eggs.

Thanks for your great tip,I'll update here directions about the Mosquito Dunks, also I've read if you don't have yet the dunks you can add a few drops of oil in the water,this will prevent the mosquitoes breathe through the tails and and seal the larvae off from the air ..Check my other free auction is only for tips..

Great idea. Thank you for providing it free. We have some monster sized mosquitos in our yard. Freaks me out all the time. I'll try this on them & see how it works.

Thank you for listing this.We have a pond in front of our house so we get these little creatures everywhere and they are all size from tiny to as my husband say's "Grandpa mosquitos".I have tried almost everything that i can think of but all we had were even more mosquito's show up.I am going to try this and see if it send them packing.

Thank you so much for all your tips.I'm afraid this is going to be a bad year for mosquito's in our area.Just working in our yard yesterday i saw alot of them and some of them are huge.I spend alot of time outside in the summer and i am going to try all of your tips.I was overbid but i will be bidding again.
