I have up for auction 1 package of Pitcher Plant Seeds., Sarracenia. I received these last fall from a plant and seed trading site. They have been refrigerated until now. . I will put them in a paper seed package for delivery.

Growing Instructions:
The main requirement for the venus fly traps in high humidity, high sunlight and warmth. To acheive this you may grow them in a terrarium. Fish bowls or aquariums work great for this. Use a 70/30 mix of peat moss and perlite. Venus fly traps live only in areas with very poor soil containing virtually no nutrients and will die if not given the right conditions. The conditions you've created also can sometimes harbor fungus. Simply clean it out of your terrarium as it appears. Your seeds will germinate in about 30-45 days.
Do not add fertilizer or lime and never use potting soil
Never let the soil dry out
Transplant your plants into new soil every few years.
