what ver is it? is the key with it?

Not sure what you mean by the key? This is version 10 and has a disc that sets up the program and it comes with a headset. It works well, I only used it a few times for a few reports. I just dont have much use for it. You might google and find out more about it.

No number was needed. I used it on windows vista.

I don't remember having to enter a code or anything. On the box it states no enrollment needed.
