Is it self tanner or do you go to a tanning bed fer it, does it wash off in shower? Thanks fanned

Its for use in an indoor tanning bed, tho I suppose you could use it tanning outside? I honestly have no idea! Not sure if you are asking if the lotion washes off, or if the tan washes off?? Ive never used it, so I honestly dont know anything more than what it says on the bottle..
