The listing, JAMES BOND IN COLD FALL(AUDIO BOOK) has ended.
Bond is back -- again. The late Ian Fleming introduced his handsome, tough, romantic hero in Casino Royale in 1953. Cold Fall is Gardner's fourteenth James Bond novel since taking over where Fleming left off, and it sticks to the familiar -- and successful -- routine. This one involves a British airliner that blows up while landing at Washington's Dulles Airport, killing almost 500 people. Bond's ex-lover is believed to be one of the victims. The evil doers belong to a group code-named COLD, the Children of the Last Days. Some are ex-Mob, some are dangerous crazies, and some are highly intelligent criminals who believe that the only way to fight crime is by putting criminals into the government. There are, of course, exotic settings and beautiful women -- and there's enough action to satisfy the most die-hard Bond buff.
