You weight the ring out of water and then in the water and depending on how much the water is displaced, it shows if the ring is gold. Google it, it has the chart and everything

i weight the ring15 gr. -the water 205--put ring in weight is 215-it should be 220 tell me what i'm doing wrong or right

well thats a good sign... doesnt mean its solid golid could still be gold over silver, but does mean a better quality of jewlery

any jeweler should be able to tell you at no cost - but hey folks it is a nice ring regardless and if we don't know -people that see it being worn won't know.
