A bright idea . . .
This very cleverly thought out and beautifully finished wooden device is perfect for pulling or pushing an oven rack. It was designed, hand-made, and finished all by the same person. It is made of walnut, with the natural and interesting variations you would expect of an organic material and it has an oiled, smooth finish. One end is shaped so the edges aren't square and was painted black. The other end is shaped so there is a hook to grasp the edge of the rack and pull it towards you; at ths end, there is also a rounded groove that works to push the rack forward into the oven. This works on toaster ovens and full size ovens very well. It's not only functional - it's handsome! This measures approximately 13 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 1/2.
