How long is the chain & how big is the shell, in inches?

one side of the chain is 12" so 24" unclasped. I can put it on without undoing the clasp if I'm careful. The shell is 3" long and about 2" inches wide in the middle (the widest part). Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks for looking and hope you bid!
