The listing, JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #1 (1972) FN/VF (7.0) VINTAGE MARVEL STARLIN/PLOOG ART has ended.

Hello all bidders ! This is a Great Bronze Age #1 Comic!!

You must take a look at this fantastic issue of a vintage MARVEL COMICS classic JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #1 !! Featuring "A TALE OF TIMELESS TERROR!!"

JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #1 (OCT., 1972 - A 20 CENT ISSUE!) {look at the beautiful Cover ART!!} I am not a professional grader, so I will do the best I can to describe them. I can only give you my opinion, so please look at the photos of the front and back covers, and make up your own mind as to their condition because grading is so Subjective.

In my unprofessional opinion, having read the Overstreet Grading Definitions, this 41 year old comic appears to be a FN/VF (7.0) which is above average used comic book, that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with outstanding eye appeal.
Great cover color and gloss. Corners are in very good shape. Some cover wear, some minor edge wear and a minor fold crease lower right corner, stress lines at spine, small lower spine split. Back cover is in very good shape. The inside is in great shape. Complete, nothing cutout.
A GREAT ISSUE TO COMPLETE OR ADD TO ANY COLLECTION at low cost!! But, please judge for yourself from the photos as grading is so subjective.

All comics come bagged and boarded.

Marvel came out with this in 1972 as I guess what would be a 2nd series and started the numbering at #1. I believe the cover story of this #1 "Dig me no Grave" was reprinted in 1975 by Marvel as a "Masters of Terror" comic. Neil Adams might have done the art in issue #2 of this series.
