In order to have better results with this auction, please add more details regarding your item. Your auction is missing a description or picture. These two things will go a long way in instilling confidence in potential bidders. We also highly recommend that you include pictures of the actual item that is being auctioned, (not just use stock photos from the manufacturer). For higher valued items, please include a notecard or piece of paper with your Listia username in one of the pictures of the actual item. This will also reduce the number of questions that your bidders will ask, and most importantly, you`ll get the best results with your auction.

My PC booklet auction last week ended with a bid of 5,050 and you want me to do better? PLease tell me what else you want in my descriptions and I will put it there. What is there now is all I know and all my bidders seem to want to know.

The main reason we don't do pictures is the time it takes to do them right. Most people posting books do not use photos of the actual book, but "stock" pictures pulled from Amazon and/or similar sites. Several of us have discussed this, and most (if not all) of my regular bidders have agreed that they would rather I spend my time getting and posting what they want rather than taking the needed time to do pictures. I have been on four other sites for several years; due to the response to my auctions on Listia, I have had to put three of the other sites "on vacation" as I don't have time to maintain them, and each of those sites furnish stock pictures for their listers. Yes, I could post fewer auctions, and maybe provide better service to more bidders, but we seem to be "on a roll" and I like rolling....even if I do spend 6 to 8 hours, seven days a week on Listia....and stil can't get posted the books I want to post. If the book bidding slows down and I start listing misc. auctions, I definitely will do pictures as I have some unique items I want to post.
