The music play nice... It's surprising for its size how nice it plays. However, It's not going to rattle the walls. She may want something like an old boombox. This is a good take to the beach radio. For a person that doesn't want to drown out the crowd. Perfect for office desk as well... Thanks for asking!

F/W. I can only have a regular AM/FM radio in my office on the military base where I am at, so this would be great. You would be surprised how hard it is to find a basic AM/FM radio around these days.

Thanks Darcey. It is very appreciated. Yeah these days, the radios have ipod connections or other things that aren't allowed in classified areas. Just a basic radio (that isn't a alarm clock radio and even those have all kinds of connections these days) is hard to find. I found a basic transistor radio at Walgreens of all places, but it isn't as cool as this one by any means, lol. God Bless you and your family as well.
