Description

The listing, Raspberry Pi Model B 512MB has ended.

Brand new, never opened Raspberry Pi. These are great little single board computers the size of a credit card.

The Raspberry Pi in the pictures is the one I opened for myself. I have 5 extra Raspberry Pis to sell that are still in the original packaging, safely stored in a dry, cool location.

Thanks for looking at my auction and good luck bidding!

EDIT: I have included an LG USB power cord to power the Pi. The cord's output is the required 5.1v. Also, as an extra bonus, I have included a 6 foot long Ethernet cable to give your Pi network access. I would include an SD card, but unfortunately, I do not have an extra one to include.

Once again, thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

Of course! Also, my 9 yr old daughter loves playing minecraft on hers, which by the way, the Pi version of minecraft is free. These things are awesome!

How much do you want/espect this to go for? Depending on time I may take a bit longer...

I'm not sure what you are asking. The amount I want or expect to get from this auction is irrelevant. If you win the auction and need time to pay half of the shipping I may be able to work with you and you would have to email me privately to further discuss it. Thanks.

Question: can you run other Linux OS's like: Linux Mint, Peppermint, Watt OS... etc... on here if you copied them onto the card and made it bootable? I'm familiar with linux to some degree but not sure how to make a bootable sd or if one with another LInux OS like the ones i mentioned would work with this? Also, I dont have an hdmi, tv, so for a regular tv hookup would all i need are the a/v in/out cables (red, yellow, white) you know work? THank you in advance for any information provided. :) :) And I really hope you list the other pi's as it's looking like this one will go over my credit amount, and it's give me time to get more credits.... :)

I am sorry to say that systems like Linux Mint and the others like it will not run on the Pi. However...Raspbian is built from Debian and there are Arch Linux and Puppy Linux......I really can't think of them all right now. I'm posting this from my phone, but when I get home I will post a link to a page with a long list of OS for the Pi...... As far as a/v cables....YES.....the Raspberry Pi has both hdmi and rca connections. However...you can NOT use both at the same time.

Right! Thanks for the input. I use Raspian for running Minecraft. I really love the fact that I can load different systems and programs just by changing the sd card. This thing is a great little multi-tasker.

Man do I feel stupid. The thread about the codecs being free was all a bad April Fool's joke. I misread and I apologize for my wrong information. Also...this Pi does not come with any codecs pre-purchased. Thanks again everyone!

Sorry...I replied via my phone and accidentally replied to you in a new comment. The Raspberry Pi Foundation has reverse engineered the codecs so they are now available for free.
