NICE lot! I'm a beader and am getting rid of some of my beads on Listia, and I'm glad to see you selling on here. I think this is a GREAT web site for swapping and recycling beads -- they can be so expensive! I'm going to list some next weekend if you want to take a look.

Isn't it great! I'm a devoted Etsy-er usually, but people like to charge up the hoo-hah for shipping, and when you only want to buy one thing from a shop it becomes $7 all of a sudden instead of $2 lol. So yeah, I was pretty stoked too when I realized the possibilities of Listia. I'll keep an eye out for yours! :)

I'm going to put some jewelry on Etsy with free shipping, see what happens. Shipping beads and jewelry is pretty cheap, but if people want Priority mail they'll have to pay for it. I've been spending ALL my time on Listia, but it would be nice if I could sell a few things for real money!

Free Shipping is the GOLDEN TICKET on Etsy! For real, I can't afford to do it all the time but even low shipping helps sales. Whenever I'm shopping there I just search what I'm looking for with 'free ship' after it. There are some great deals. Also, buy showcases! I know it's a little expensive (I'm sure my bill is sky high by now not even kidding) but it's well worth the exposure and having people add you to their favorites will really help.

Rambling is good ... that's good advice! I need to get some more items on Etsy, try to sell a few to pay for all the free shipping I offer on here *sigh*. I get great bids on Listia with free shipping, but it's costing me quite a bit. But, I am accumulating enough credits to win some of the big ticket items, so I think I'm coming out ahead so far.

That's the idea. Once you win something huge and you've only paid out so much in shipping in return for the credits, it probably is more than balanced out. That's kind of what I'm hoping to do.
