does the phones take sims cards and are both batteries gone?

Only one phone is included per auction, and yes it does take a sim card but the GSM mode can only be used outside the U.S.A with a data plan or you can posibly unlock it to work with other carrier's sim, that's my guess; you can always use Google to find out more about them. Thanks
