The listing, Vintage Print By Hummel Wood Plaque 40+ Years Old FREE SHIPPING has ended.

She's adorable! I'm not sure if she's M.I. Hummel or Bertha Hummel. If you really wanted to know, you could do a little research and find out easily I'm sure. The signing is simple "Hummel".
I've been told she's "Girl In Grass With Bird" and also told she's from the late 1950's to mid 1960's sometime. But this is only what the They Sayers have said, so I'm not positive.
She stands just under 6 inches high and is 4 1/4 inches wide. Print on a wooden plaque.
I see no chips in the wood at all. I've tried to take pretty good photos so you can see. There is cracking under the shellac (At least I think it's shellac). But I've never seen one like this that doesn't have it. When you run your fingers over the print/front, it's flush. You can't feel anything. If I've left out anything you need to know, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm off and on around the computer and ck via mobile periodically and I'll get back with you as soon as possible :)
On a side note, I wish I had the nerve to peel this off. I think she may be an even older postcard. But I've no clue how to do it due to the shellac without damaging her, aaw!
I ship within 3 days of auction ending Except Sun.

I appreciate your F&W I'll fan back! Please feel free to ask any ques. Thanks for looking! Good luck on the auctions!

Hi, I just got your email. It's close to the auction ending and I'm not going to re-list it if it doesn't sell. I hope you see this before then. The paper that's glued on the back doesn't date it or give any origin clues. It's something that someone printed themselves after the print was mounted, I'm thinking this was presented to two people in a club or it was given by two people in a club to another club member. The print says:
"Laura McGregor, W.M.
Edward Johnson, W.P.
Guilford Chapter #141"
The reason I think it's to or from people in a club is because I bought this in a county that's about 15 miles from Guilford County. "Guilford Chapter" I really think is a particular district of a club of some kind. I collect, buy and re-sell antiques. I'm making a move sometime in the next few months after living in the same house for over 23 yrs. I'm letting go of some things. She was an antique that I was fond of and never really put a lot into researching. I'd just planned on keeping her. I've gotten about 100 things together for a live antique auction. A few items I left out because like I said, I was very fond of them and I just thought someone should see them by themselves, outside a grouped live auction. That's all that's written on her anywhere. I've got a high power, lit magnifying glass and have checked every single nook and crany of this, several times. No hints to date her. But I'm 100% positive without a shadow of a doubt that she's at the very youngest from the late 60s. The antiques that I bought that day were all from circa 40s-70s. On a side note, some amazing old toys too! :) I hope this has helped a little.

Youre very welcome. I couldve taken a picture but I figured the print is so clear to me that it would be better to explain. Thanks, fanned you back!
