I bought this for my son..its amazing..with just a tiny squeeze it gives off a simulated heartbeat like your baby heard in your womb. It makes adjusting to life outside your tummy much easier. It has a built in timer so you save battery life..it takes a 9 volt battery. you simply lay it in the bassinet, crib, co-sleeper..whatever it is you use. Keep in mind the baby only needs this for at least the 1st 3 weeks after they come home but its so worth it!!!
