no,that's what my friend read on there when i asked him to read the karat gold.he said it was either 15k or 16k.,b/c i couldn't read the karot gold myself....i couldn't see the numbers

since my boyfriend and i can't make out the number of karats ourselves,i am going to take it to the jewlers tommorow for them to put it under a magnify glass and tell me,will let everyone know tommorow,but i bought this ring myself and it is real gold!!

Update-i brought this ring to the jewlers today,and they said it's 14k gold.so,it isn't 16k gold!!!i repeat this is a 14k solid gold ring!!!!
