Silver plated is to coat the ring with a thin layer of silver, especially by electroplating. Also applications in electronics, silver is sometimes used for plating copper. It is NOT sterling silver and not marked. It is advised to keep silver plated items away from water, soaps, makeup and perfumes. Take off your jewelry before washing or bathing.
