The listing, Antique/Vintage Wooden Purse and possibly more! has ended.

I will do my best to describe this unique item...as you can see i have plenty of pictures!!

This antique/vintage purse or perhaps lil carrying case?? Not really sure what to call it, Is made of wood and I think a bamboo type of material. On the inside it is lined with red velvet. The metal hinges, lever lock and other metal parts look to be Brass.

It measures approx 7" wide, 5" tall and roughly 4" round. It looks to me to be in very good shape and my local antique dealer has estimated this item as atleast 50 years old give or take a few years =)

I think this purse would look cute with a brass chain attached to it to create purse straps. I was intending on doing that at some time, but never got around to it.

This purse has been sitting in a bag in my closet for over a year now, and its time to give a fellow purse lover a chance to give it the attention it deserves!!!

----Ok, now for the possibly MORE part-------
If the bid on this item reaches OVER 10,000 I will stuff the purse with as many odds N ends as it will hold (without causing any possible damage to interior)...

I have one that's similar! I love it when hubby and i go out to dinner on the beach! I get soooo many compliments w/ mine! It's the perfect size too- holds a small wallet my lipstick and my keys! Perfect for a night out on the town w/ my brown sweater top and dark black jeans! Good luck whoever wins this will sure to be pleased! :) I've had mine for over 20 yrs and you honestly couldn't pay me to part with it!

i hate parting with it also, but in the years that I have had it I havent Once pull it out of the closet. So I hope I find someone that will put it to well deserved use.

I hope so too. It's very disappointing when you list something really cool and you don't get a lot of credits. I would bid but I am actually trying to get rid of things... and I don't really have a use for it. But I like it!
