I wear a small and the top's rather loose and comfortable. the shorts have elastic waist, so they fit great. hope that helps

And I'm wishing they were large. The bottoms would fit me I know, but I have extra broad shoulders and usually have slightly baggy pj bottoms in a large. Or is the top really loose for the size? Probably would need to be pretty baggy on you; I like them comfortable, too. Cute set!
