Welcome to an Auction by BabyBeeJou Boutique!

New with Tag - This is a GORGEOUS Silk Christening Gown (would also be beautiful as a portrait dress) by Sarah Louise. 100% Silk outer dress and bonnet. This gown is available in the current catalogue and retails for $260.00.

The dress is an ivory/cream color and the lacework on the bonnet is gorgeous! Tiny little pearl embellishments, ribbons and layers make this a little Cinderella gown perfect for your precious one. The tag size is 6 months - may work for smaller fine too with a little tucking. =)

Please note: While this was never worn, this dress does have a flaw - a discolored part on the lower back of the gown (see photo). This would not show for photos as it's in the back but important to be aware of it. This is silk so I am fairly certain this is a permanent mark.

The gown has three layers including a tulle layer that gives the dress some added shape. So beautiful!

Lots of photos. The photo with the baby is a stock photo from the company. In several of my own photos I used a reborn doll to model the gown - the baby doll is NOT included in this auction (she is available in another auction running currently *s*) Hope someone will enjoy this dress; it's truly stunning!

That's my concern don't want it to go for small amount of credits but sure would love seeing a little piece of gold christened in it wish he could wear his mama's but she was a major preemie and her dad was active duty at the time retired now so we had 30 days between her being born and him getting on a plane she was not 5lbs when she was in the Church in a tiny little gown that floated on her then she lost down to 3 lbs 6 ozs and started her life in the hospital but she is a wonderful mama and daughter....

Awe sweetie thank you so much it's amazing how much a stranger can change a whole family but we refused to let him make her his victim all her life so I lived in the hospital for 5mts and 26days before he got the awesome offer from the hospital he is at now but living at the hospital allowed her to attend classes daily it was an hours drive each way but her and my husband would leave the hospital at the same time her to class him to work and me and my piece of gold was just there since he was in a drug induced coma so me and my wheelchair and broken keyboard computer became the Listia watcher since I couldn't list things my grand son is deaf but his smiles speak volumes he has brain damage and seizures and cerebral palsy he can't sit up yet but he has killer eyes they sparkle he is a true gift from my maker thanks for the happy, healing wishes we will take all we can get and wish luck he may be in a gown he is only 9 lbs right now at 2 years old and hasn't been Christened yet but she said she would allow a gown now just have to see what my credits say in 3 days.....I can only hope and wish upon his twinkle eyes.....

A Flaw that's not a FLAW at what you are listing it's a gift my gosh here is a hint "There is a tape it's called "Fashion Forms Dress/Lingerie Tape with Dispenser" it's available at Dillards,Amazon(much cheaper) but depends on how fast you need it I discovered it when my babygirl stood in her God Mothers Wedding and she was a junior Bride though she was 7 years old she wore a 3T&the Wedding since we were Military we had to go home for it 4 days before well the dressmaker didn't get just how tiny she was so instead of paying for alterations we were told about that tape my daughter now fully grown is 4'7 lets just say Cap&Gowns come in S,M,L&XL here which where my son graduated the gowns were made to fit&for $60 we PURCHASED it with cap,gown&tassel,here it's $225.00 to rent&no altering so we made posters&put up at her school about the tape&the Saturday before Graduation instead of a large amt of 960 students needing/buying it we have a meeting time since they are allowed to decorate their caps but we got a count of about how many will need to tape theirs Dillard's donated the tape I said we will return the unopened boxes&they said put them in the Prom dress donation room I was shocked but with a daughter so tiny that tape has become a staple in our home&anyone that sews knows cheap doubled sided tape don't hold a thing, now I just have to Pray her baby is out of the Hospital since he has been inpatient since Sept so she can actually walk with her class&she said if he's not it's ok he comes first in her life so the stranger who thought he was taking away from her the last week of her freshman year added a gift to our lives he was born with Congenital CMV is severally disabled but that tape played a part in the NICU with his cloths we would tape the arm of his cloths down since he had a PIK Line&we couldn't put his little arm in it&now he has a gtube&the tape is being used to tape the outfits closed at the port site.Gosh what a true gift being offered...Thank You.

The lady who owned the shop I originally purchased from said it had gotten a dirt streak on it and, not thinking about it being silk, (a 'duh' moment I'd say) she had used some type of clothing cleaner to try to spot clean it and all it did was smudge the mark and crinkle the material there. Originally I was going to do a little embellishment work on it the cover the area but then we found another little gown for our friend's baby girl so it's been in the closet for a year =)
