My hubby got this for me for my new iPad 3 but we came to find out that this cover fits ipad2, I hope I'm not wrong. I have the 3rd generation iPad and this cover seemed too small so we r pretty sure it's for the 2nd iPad.If you have questions just ask, I'm always free to answer them.
