I received this with a new computer purchase. It has not been used. It is a free 6 month trial with serial code.

Questions & Comments

Does it expire if you don't use it in a certain amount of time. My son antivirus protection runs out in April and then he will need one.

I will open the package up and look. I think it just expires 6 mos after you install it. Anyways, I just bought the laptop last month at Best Buy and this came with it as well as 1year of tech support. I don't need either because I have Norton through my internet provider.

I opened up the package and there is nothing that says it's a trial. I was told it was by Best Buy.
