So this is for Dell Desktops only ? Since it was bought thru dell it probably has a Preactivated key for Dell computers that support Microsoft Windows 7 and have a COA/Product key of that OS.

This was not bought through dell but was sent by dell. My OS failed and didn't have a built in reformat like most computers do so they sent my this USB. I installed now have no further use for it. This was also used on a laptop not a desktop (if that matters).
