Description

The listing, RTX Phone Jack extension has ended.

This device uses your house wiring to create a telephone jack in a room that isn't wired for one. I used it to put a jack in the living room so the TIVO could dial in and get television listings from TIVO HQ, wherever that is. Most people use it just to add a phone in a bedroom or whatever.

Apparently you can add more receiver units, I only needed the one.

We don't seem to have the instructions, but it's pretty much plug-and-play. You can download instruction or watch a video about it, just Google RTX 3240.

This unit still works great, we got a fiber-optic bundle that includes a DVR so we don't need it anymore.

would you do a 2500 gin?

GIN takes the fun out of it! I kind of expect this one to fetch a bit more than that anyway. Thanks for asking though. You are going to laugh at me if only one person bids and it goes out for 1 credit and no shipping. It's happened before.

I was looking at your cassette data tapes for some old computer system? My first computer was like that, a TI99/4a with a cassette deck, I used to get the magazines with BASIC games to type in, and then save them on tape. Look how far we have come since then! But some of the cartridge games I had on it would be fun to play even today.

Yeah, There are ways around the need to have a "tape recorder" ... I did a search and it turns out "they" have a TI-994/A emulator and "games on cartridge" (that have been dumped to a file) that will work with I believe at least XP and supposedly "7" - not sure which OSes it will support, so I decided to download it before the "Thought Police" decide(s) to make the person pull their software. In either case, there are emulators for the Spectrum and TS-2068 (and the TS-1000) out there to be downloaded - tons for Spectrum - not so many for ZX-81 / TS-1000 - but one good one is all I need ! :)

Whoops, ya know, my last comment was way off-topic ... sorry.
