Very nice collection of German coins dating from the Imperial period to the 3rd Reich ranging from the humble Pfennig up to a 200 Mark piece from 1923.

Prior to the 1873 unification under Kaiser Wilhelm II, coins were issued by each state, the earliest coins here are from the period just after that, there are several made from iron and zinc during the Great War 1914-1918, some from the corrupt inter war Weimar Repuclic and the latest date is 1935, two years after Hitler took power.

Many of the coins are in remarkably good shape, a couple have seen better days but overall this is a high quality lot.
