The listing, Super Kawaii Creamy Macaroon Bears Mini Memo pad from Q-lia 100 sheets! has ended.

Due to popular demand I am auctioning a brand new fresh in plastic full mini memo pad. It is really cute with creamy bear shaped macaroons, strawberry cake and jewels on the cover. Made in Japan by Q-lia. This mini memo pad measures 8 cm. x 6 cm. or 3 1/4 in. x 2 3/8 in. and contains 100 sheets in 2 patterns. The first picture shows the cover and the second and third pictures show what the paper looks like inside. Please copy and paste the following for a close-up of all three:

This mini memo combines two of my favorite kawaii themes bears and desserts! How could you not smile if you got a sweet note written on such cheerful paper! I also use my stash for scrapbooking, collages, mixed media. Here is a picture I took of the composition book I decorated with kawaii paper for my daughter:

Aww thank-you that's so sweet of you to say. I tried my best and it still isn't complete yet. I'm down to the last few white spots and I don't know what to fill them with. But kawaii stationery always makes stuff look cute so it's not really my craftiness. :D

It all started when you mentioned Mod Podge...I had fun crafting with my cute bits of kawaii paper and my hubbie thought it was hilarious that every time he passed by I was staring at my composition book and smiling. I was pretty much grinning the *whole* time I was making it. He said I looked like a little kid....hey fine by me since I'm not getting any younger. ;p

hehe.. i just left a comment on the other auction asking if it was mod podge you used to make that! it's really fun stuff. :) really makes everything look polished. i would be smiling when i was making that too! how could you not? cute materials all piled together? it really does look nice. :)

My daughter loves it! I hope it stays together and pieces don't fall off. I've heard all good things about mod podge so I'm not too worried. I haven't put a top coat on yet but I'm concerned about brush strokes. I've painted blank paper with mod podge and it dries with brush strokes in it. I wonder if there is a way for it to dry smooth? Or do i need another product like that diamond stuff?

it will dry with brush strokes in it. i like the way they look alot of times actually. :) i haven't tried a foam brush ever.. maybe that helps? it might also help if you thin it some with water, maybe? i think that girl from kawaii~neh! said she had thinned out her glaze with water to make that kawaii box. it's pretty thick so when you brush it on - it dries with the ridges it has when it's wet. it doesn't "level out". nothing will fall off of it though! i can guarantee that. i did a custom lighter over a month ago for a friend and it's in and out of his pocket all the time still intact!

That is so cool...a lighter? I can't believe it stays on plastic. It's amazing the things you can mod podge. And the weird thing is it smells like regular elmers glue. But the consistency is thicker and it doesn't wrinkle as much. :o)

i have to sand lighters down with fine grit sandpaper.. otherwise it flakes off. trial and error. ;) were there watchers here before? 6 of them? i don't know if i will be home to bid now. we may road trip to the Omaha zoo. it was supposed to be today, but plans fell through. i want this memo pad.. :D

Aha! So that is the secret to getting them to stick to plastic. Would never have thought of sanding but that makes total sense. If you ever find out about a sealant that "levels out" please let me know. I remember reading about one but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. :( I did so much research online looking at different products and reviews a couple of weeks ago that it made me a bit sleepy and I didn't write anything down figuring I'd remember. Darn my forgetful, arrogant brain... bleh!

Sweet! Nice to see you here...is it getting colder for you yet? I'm a little cold today, it's very sunny outside but the wind is cold and it's windy today. Temperature is supposed to be 78 degrees right now but it feels colder than that. Yes, we islanders are used to much warmer weather, lower the temperature by 10 degrees and suddenly you see people wearing jackets. When my family and I went to Disneyland last spring break, we were some of the only ones wearing jackets. :o)
