This gold and silver was used 75+ years ago by a painter and frame-maker, the artist died in WWII. I feel that much of this gold and silver is from the turn of the century, but I can only date it pre-1943.

The luster from this vintage gold leaf is so great there's no words for it. Beautiful, breathtaking, fascinating these words don't do it justice. It gives of a radiance that modern leaf can not. Modern leaf is machine manufactured as where this gold leaf and gold leaf for thousands of years before it was pounded out by skilled gold-beaters, a process lost with today's modern industrialism.
This cut is marked "Made in Italy"
Inside there is an estimated 12-15+ sheets
this is not a complete full book, but still has a several nice pieces, with a quarter in the picture you can see the size.
You can use this in art work, wood work, metal body work Ideals are limitless, you could always layer something in pure gold(Gild), It's a great keepsake, conversation piece
