I have a wireless connection at my home.My pc and router is located downstairs and whenever I go upstairs to my other pc the internet never catches, so If I plug this in on my upstairs pc will internet work ?

you will have to have it turned on through cricket first, but then it will work on your pc that you have upstairs.
