this auction is for 10 seeds of this amazing plant. very easy to start from seed and will get eggs the first year. eggs are the size of a normal chicken egg. Great plant for kids!!

just grow one and give it to a complaining hubby with some salt and pepper and tell him enjoy breakfast!! and watch his face when he tries to crack it!! hahaa :P

The plant is "Solanum melongena var" and is a type of ornamental Eggplant. It's sort of edible - it's extremely bitter and unless properly prepared will upset your stomach, but it won't kill you. The leaves, incidentally, are extremely poisonous - this is a nightshade after all. Just make sure your pets don't try to eat it.
