Yes the battery is already inside has never been wound . I love mine I get lots of comimnets when I wear the one I have.

@ Meyers frost yes it does have a battery what I mwnt by is the plastic is still on the winder time as never been set and hand have never been moved. I am sorry for the miss understanding.
