Has a stand alone operating system called CE 8 I think it is or just CE, look it up. It tells all about the ones like this. Kinda hard to get used to but if you know alot about laptops, you can work on anything. Not known for speed but for schoolwork-maybe-If it turns on he can get the specs on it.
