I walk my dogs on harnesses. I'd rather be pulled than use that thing. They say they don't hurt. I'd love to see someone put that around their own neck and let someone walk them and get pulled around by it. Any collar on a dogs neck when it pulls damages it's throat. I can't even stand looking at this thing.

thoses types of collars were made for dog correction training, if they pulled or jerked then it does pinch them.

These are excellent collars.Harness are not as useful to a dog that is very lively,this collar does not fit tight and does not hurt the dog.I had a harness for my Black Czech Shepherd and all he did was pull,he wasnt learning anything till I put a prong collar on him.He listens very well and hasnt been a potiental problem since.Harness were made to pull things not to train.

Iam a dog trainer and no they DO NOT HURT THE DOG people see them and assume the worse, instead of looking at it why dont people just learn to use them properly they do not poke into the dogs skin at all. they apply pressure to the pressure points on the dogs neck telling the dog to release itself from pulling. I wont start an obedience class unless all students bring one to class to learn how to properly use one.

Everyone uses harnesses but in reality harnesses are not reliable if the dog pulled backwards the harness will pull off the pet right over its head and then the dog is running away and another lost pet is on the sites looking for lost pet.
