No problem MIgal04......I know what you mean about kids lol, I got my first tablet in January......very happy that I waited for 3 years after the tablet craze started to get mine by the way lol.....(and plan on keeping mine for AT LEAST 3 years)...and since then my little brothers (5 and 12) had been BEGGING me DAILY to buy them one.....suddenly their Leapsters weren't enough....lol....Not wanting to spend 500$ on a tablet for them...when they'd probably break an expensive one anyways....I searched for a tablet here on Listia for weeks with no luck finding anything of good quality within my price range.....I finally caved in and just got one for them from Wal-Mart for a few bucks shy of 200$....A Nabi 2......they were extremely happy with it at first......as soon as the older one's friend got a Nabi XD (A newer model) they all of a sudden want that one....my answer "sure, as soon as you're old enough to get a job & pay for it yourself" LOL The younger one doesn't yet understand $ and told me to just go put my card in and get some money for him at the "magic money machine"....the older one just shut his mouth lol

To ginsmauru60, there's not even such thing as an iPad 2 mini! Not yet at least, and it will probably stay that way until October/November!
Shame that people feel the need to belittle something that came out in Nov of this past year! Stop being such suckers as consumers always NEEDING the VERY newest, guys! Either way, this IS the first & newest iPad mini that will be out for quite some time so don't let any comments from technologically ignorant people make you think otherwise.

Big kuddos to you for clearing that up for me! My kids are the same way, always want the newest and greatest things even though the older edition works just fine. I always tell them they have to save their own money up, LOL. They change their tune very quickly.

F/W very nice auction... I'd love to have this. I know all about nursing school and children! I helped my sister with her studies and am very proud of her! We recently lost our beautiful little mother and then a few weeks ago our dad slipped away. This will be mine and my sisters first Mother's Day without our beautiful mother and I'd give anything to hold her close and sing to her one more time. Hang in there, I know how hard it must be, raising a family while attending nursing school. You sound like a wonderful, kind lady and that's the kind of nurses we need! :)

Is it wifi only or can you use it everywhere? With the purchase of a data package?

No, this one only has WIFI from what I can tell. That is the only thing that is advertised on the outside of the box. I think you need to buy the specific ipad that has the data package option, and this one doesn't. Can anyone verify that? Or can you add on a data package later? I'm sorry I'm not completely clear on that concept.

I have an iPad though and that it almost everywhere because so many places have wifi now (McDonald's, Starbucks, Panera, Target, etc)
