Honestly, I couldn't tell you. It is a Leap Frog product and says Leapster Explorer. I looked in the parent guide & instructions pamphlet that is with it, and it doesn't say anywhere which leappads it will work in, there is a website listed thou, that may be able to answer your question it is: Consumer Support website at www.leapfrog.com hope you can find you answer here. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

No, I have all granddaughters, and I only have this game because I didn't realize that you had to buy certain games for different Leapfrog products. I just figured they would all work......learned a lesson, so it will be someone elses gain.
