FREE: Vintage US Govt Ashtrays - Pair

The listing, Vintage US Govt Ashtrays - Pair has ended.

Pair of vintage metal ashtrays. Handles have "PROP. OF U.S. GOVT." stamped in them. Spring type clamps that are in excellent working condition. No maker or date marks anywhere. Some rust and discoloration/light peeling. Inside of ashtray has a place to set a cigarette. Ashtray 3" in diameter, handle 2.5". My antique dealer friend has never seen these before. His guess was they were for a plane or boat. My guess - the office (as yes, people did smoke at work way back when). An interesting set anyway.

The auction is as posted. I will not be changing it to a GIN. I will not be lowering the starting bid, or number of days, as I am putting out a lot of money on free shipping and tracking and want there to be ample time for people to see my auctions.

I mail out on Mondays (Tuesday if a holiday) from a local mail center. Books & DVDs will be going media rate if it is the less expensive choice, so they take approx. 8-12 days to arrive after being mailed. I add confirmation to my auctions (hasn't stopped some from trying to claim they never received items).

I only ship to Listia verified addresses.
